Coffees of Mexico grow in South-central to Southern regions of the country. Mexican coffee ranges in flavor from light bodied and delicate such as Oxaca Plumas to bolder and snappier coffees of Chiapas on the Guatemalan border. Wide ranging in their cup flavor, these coffees often remain in the shadow of its neighbor Guatemala, but deserve a recognition of their own.
Mexico, Plumas, Tres Rios is a lighter coffee. Medium body and acidity, sweet with notes of cocoa and spice, slightly nutty. A mild cup, with a pleasantly aggressive finish. |
